Technical requirements for ceramic fiber blankets as folding modules

Ceramic fiber blankets are industry products made of ceramic fiber. With the advantages of light, high-temperature resistance, good thermal stability, low heat conduction rate, and mechanical vibration resistance, it is used in various kinds of environments of high temperature, and high pressure, and is easy to wear and tear.


Let’s take a brief understanding of the technical requirements of ceramic fiber modules:

1. The material of the pre-buried metal anchor components in the ceramic fiber module should be embedded and installed in the material of 18-8 or specified materials.

2. The ceramic fiber module should use a thickness of 20mm or 25mm ceramic fiber needle blanket to be restructured into a prescribed size, only the folded surface as the high-temperature heating face.

3. The folding module made of ceramic fiber blankets shall meet the relevant regulations on the technical requirements of class 23 and 26 ceramic fiber needle blankets.


4. The volume density of the folding module made of ceramic fiber blanket should be at least 128kg/m3.
The ceramic fiber blanket should be made of fiber by spinning or blowing method. The required volume density is 128kg/m3 which is containing these different types of materials like High Purity, High Alumina, and Zirconium.
